Our Mission

Support public art, performance, education, and cultural exchange in Seattle.

Margolis Arts Foundation supports cross-cultural understanding and community connection through visual art, dance, performance, and education. We create space for artistic expression across a wide range of cultural backgrounds and traditions, with a focus on programming that is accessible, thoughtful, and rooted in public benefit.

Background

A nonprofit home for community arts programming.

Margolis Arts Foundation was created to provide a dedicated nonprofit home for community-centered arts programming in Seattle. The foundation builds on several years of arts activity, including exhibitions, public cultural events, dance programming, and the O-Jak Bridge Art and Dance Festival.

We formed the organization to carry this work forward under a mission-driven structure better suited to fundraising, partnerships, artist support, public access, and sustained community benefit.
